Objective
Construction of a 10 t/h coal-water mixture production plant, using Standard Oil Technology. It was realised in 1986 that the 10 t/h scale would not be cost effective. It was furthermore decided to change the technology. The following contract CS./00203/87/IT/.. proposed to plan for a 250,000 t/y (about 30 t/h) plant using Atlantic Research Corporation technology.
The programme proposed used the AFT system for cleaning (beneficiary) coal as a coal water mixture but this has been replaced by the programme supported under CS./00203/87/IT.
