Objective
E-FORUM intends to design an on-line provision that will promote networking of digital content companies and Venture Capital finance providers, both formal and informal ones. This will be a virtual placement forum (E-FORUM) on the Internet in which promising content-based companies can present their operations or business ideas and venture capital providers their particular interests or needs.
The work will consist of three phases, the consortium will review current provision of venture capital and the digital content sector. It will produce a review of supply and demand of funds as well as a precise identification of user needs, this will allow the development of a model for an on-line provision. Then, a demonstrator version will be built and will undergo trials in each of the partner countries.
It will also incorporate, where found to be needed an on-line investment and an on-line business support. The work of this preparatory action will be published through a project web site and by presentations at one national conference per partner country. As the final task of the project, the consortium will review the long-term potential of E-FORUM including its sustainability, its usefulness and its potential impact on the funding available for digital content projects.
