Objective
The bridging of the gap among entrepreneurs and start-ups activated in the Digital Content industry and financing sources in the European Union is the main objective of the BRIDGES project, in order to further develop the European Information Society, to expand the EU potential in innovation and high technology, and to foster and increase the European added value in digital Content.
particular, BRIDGES will support the establishment of a "common language" among European digital Content providers - entrepreneurs and Start-ups - and potential investors, in order for them to be able to communicate and share ideas, proposals and suggestions. It will also examine, analyze and develop a virtual European «marketplace», where both actors could interact and feedback each other. Furthermore, it will suggest methods and ways for the elimination, as far as possible, of geographic constraints and give both sides the opportunity and the incentives to select schemes from a pan-European database.
The life cycle of the project includes four phases: 1) Existing situation and requirements analysis (desk & field research), 2) Solution design (strategic plan - feasibility study), 3) Demo facility implementation and demonstration (website development) and 4) Marketing plan preparation and implementation of dissemination activities.
