Objetivo For a trade building installation of a combined heat and power plant with low energy consumption.Since the system never worked normally, no result is available.The plant is composed with: - chp gas driven groups; freezing groups used as heat pumps; solar panels with water; a waste burner with heat recovery;a 1 200 m3 heat storage. The building is air conditioned with ventilo-convectors. In summer season, heat from the chp, from the solar panels, from the heat pump and from the waste burner is stored. This heat is utilised in winter time. At the end of the winter season, the heat pump produces chilled water which is stored and utilized in summertime.The expected energy savings are 60 toe - year compared with a traditionnal equivalent plant. The payback period for the overcost investment is supposed to be 31 years.
