METHOD OF ZINC PLATING WITH NEW CHARACTERISTICS ANTI-CORROSION ELECTRO-DEPOSIT BY PULSED POWER CURRENT

Objective

Being able to offer to the european automotive and equipment industries better corrosion resistant fasteners and therefore at a no superieur of than the actual cost.
Resist to a salted spray attack during 200 h : white rust and during 400 h : red rust, after thermic schock at 120 deg. C.
Optimizing the current parameters it is possible :
to save electric energy;
to limit the material to indispensable quantity;
to improve the anti-corrosion properties of the coating and its brillancy. The main parts of the plant are : electricity rectifiers and a galvanization line which allows that the zinc coating operation will be carried out automatically.
Innovation lies in using this technology in an industrial plant of galvanization.
