REAL TIME ENERGY MANAGEMENT

Objective

In a dying and finishing textile industry measuring systems for electricity and thermal energy will be installed in order to have proper signals from every machine. These signals will be elaborated locally and transmitted to a main computer for the optimization of the factory production. The main transmission system for data will use the conveyed wave system. The aim of the project is to satisfy the need of a small industry to optimize energy consumption and production through a non expensive system.
Innovation lies mainly in the use of the conveyed waves in an industrial plant.
All the forseen results have been achieved within the planning time. The maximum reduction of energy wastes has been reached, optimizing the steam, water and electricity consumptions.
No problems have been recortded, concerning the employed material. Since its setting up, the plant has worked continuously, without any stop.
Installation for every machine or plant of probes, metering systems for electrical energy, natural gas, steam, water and so on. Their signals are transmitted by "Conveyed waves" to the central computing system, which gives diagrams for energy consumption in real time. Principal innovations are : data transmission system, feedback over the productive process not to exceed limits of electric and thermal power. The management software has the aim to reduce the install power, to optimize the use efficiency of install power, to give the exact energy consumption for every productive cycle. After the optimization of the system in Colorama, there will be a training of technicians of the other industries.

Programme(s)

Multi-annual funding programmes that define the EU’s priorities for research and innovation.

Topic(s)

Calls for proposals are divided into topics. A topic defines a specific subject or area for which applicants can submit proposals. The description of a topic comprises its specific scope and the expected impact of the funded project.

Call for proposal

Procedure for inviting applicants to submit project proposals, with the aim of receiving EU funding.
