Objective
THE PRESSURIZED GASIFICATION UNIT OF CLAMECY, FOR THE PRODUCTION OF SYNTHESIS GAS FROM LIGNOCELLULOSIC BIOMASS IS STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION. THE FIELD WORK STARTED-UP IN FEBRUARY 1986.
AT THE END OF 1986, THE ERECTION OF MAIN EQUIPMENTS HAS BEEN ACHIEVED; STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION IS THE INSTALLATION OF PIPES AND INSTRUMENTS. THAT LAST PHASE IS TO BE ACHIEVED BY MID-FEBRUARY 1987.
START-UP OF THE UNIT IS PLANNED FOR A THREE MONTHS PERIOD (APRIL TO JUNE 1987), FOLLOWED BY AN EXPERIMENTAL THREE MONTHS PERIOD (JULY - SEPTEMBER - OCTOBER 1987).
