Objective
THIS PROGRAMME IS COORDINATED BY HARWELL COMBUSTION CENTRE IN THE FRAME OF CONTRACT EN3E008800
THIS WORK HAS TWO OBJECTIVES IN THE AREA OF METROLOGY
- IMPROVE AND EVALUATE MEASUREMENT ACCURACY, ESPECIALLY ON THE CONCENTRATIONS OF SPECIES OTHER THAN NA
- EVALUATE BIASES CAUSED BY LACK OF SPACIAL RESOLUTION IN INHOMOGENEOUS MEDIA AND ONE OBJECTIVE IN THE FLAME FRONT EXPLORATION
- MAP OUT TEMPERATURES AND CONCENTRATIONS.
THE EXPECTED AND PRODUCTS ARE :
- IMPROVED RULES GOVERNING THE USAGE OF CARS IN VARIOUS TYPE OF FLAMES
- SPECTRAL DATABANKS TO BE PRESENTED IN A STANDARD FORMAT TO BE DEFINED
- FOR THE MODELLERS SPECIFIC INFORMATION ON THE FLAME FRONT STUDIED.
ON THE BUNSEN BURNER : COMPLETE MAP OF TEMPERATURE AND SPECIES WILL BE ESTABLISHED - COMPARISON BETWEEN CARS AND CONVENTIONAL METHOD RESULTS
COUNTER FLOW DIFFUSION BURNERS : TO EXPLORE FLAME FRONT AND BURNED GASES TO COMPARE RESULTS WITH THOSE OF THE OTHER LABORATORIES
STABILIZED FREE FLAME : CONSTRUCTED BY MARSEILLE FOR STABILITY OF THE FLAME FRONT, N2 DILATION WILL BE DONE AND SEVERAL VALUE OF DILUTION WILL BE TESTED.
