Objective THE AIM OF THE PROJECT IS AN EVALUATION OF THE TECHNICAL AND ECONOMICAL MARKET FOR ABSORPTION HEAT PUMP AND HEAT TRANSFORMER IN THE INDUSTRIAL AND TERTIARY SECTORS IN THE EC. THE STUDY IS BASED ON THE FOLLOWING TYPE OF ABSORPTION SYSTEMS : - LOW TEMPERATURE HEAT PUMPS FOR HEATING AND - OR CLIMATIZATION, - HEAT PUMP AND THERMAL HEAT TRANSFORMER WITH CONDENSOR TEMPERATURE BETWEEN 90 TO 150 CELSIUS DEGREES. 3 STEPS ARE FORESEEN : - TO IDENTIFY THE HEAT PUMP AND HEAT TRANSFORMER MARKET AND THEIR POSSIBLE APPLICATIONS, - TO COMPARE ECONOMICALLY THE HEAT PUMP AND TRANSFORMER SYSTEM WITH CONVENTIONAL OR ADVANCED HEATING SYSTEMS, - AN EVALUATION OF THE REAL MARKET, WITH IDENTIFICATION OF 1 OR 2 PRIORITY SECTORS FOR A POSSIBLE DEMONSTRATION PROJECT.
