Objective
A PROPER COORDINATION OF THE SIMULATION STUDIES ON THE INDIVIDUAL ELECTRICAL GRIDS OF THE NINE MEMBER STATES THUS AVOIDING DUPLICATION OF EFFORTS.
- CENTRAL DATA COLLECTION AND PROCESSING FOR THE CONCERTED ACTION: WIND TURBINE EXPERIMENT PROJECT.
- OVERALL REPORTS ON THE RESULTS OF THE PROJECTS.
THE SCOPE OF THE CONTRACT CONSISTS OF THREE AREAS:
A) SIMULATION STUDIES FOR 9 EUROPEAN ELECTRICITY GENERATION SYSTEMS AND SOME SPECIFIC STUDIES IN THE FIELDS OF GRID MANAGEMENT AND POSSIBLE POWER STATION MODIFICATIONS.
B) ESTABLISHING OF A CENTRAL COMPUTER FOR THE PROGRAMME (NEXT TO COME) WIND TURBINE EXPERIMENT PROJECT.
C) A SURVEY OF THE WIND R&D ACTIVITIES IN AND OUTSIDE EUROPE.
