Objective

THE SCOPE OF THE CONTRACT IS TO CARRY OUT A PENETRATION STUDY FOR WIND ENERGY IN THE GENERATING SYSTEM OF ITALY. THIS "SYSTEM STUDY" SHALL BE CARRIED OUT IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE "GUIDELINES FOR SYSTEM STUDIES UNDER EC WIND POWER PENETRATION STUDY, JANUARY 1987".

ACCORDING TO THE GUIDELINES THE RESEARCH INCLUDES CONSIDERATIONS CONCERNING THE FOLLOWING SUBJECTS :

- ENERGY CREDIT
- CAPACITY CREDIT
- CONTROL PROBLEMS
- ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
- VOLTAGE CONTROL AND REACTIVE POWER.
