Objective
This proposal relates to the initial development phase of gas turbine co-generation unit capable of meeting current market requirements in terms of power output, efficiency, reliability and cost. The phase comprises the development and testing of the critical components of the unit.
- to respond to the demand for a unit in the 200 to 350 kWe range.
- to decrease CO2 emission by increasing co-generation global efficiency by implementation of an efficient, intercooled, recuperated thermodynamic cycle.
- to reduce acquisition cost to .E300/k We hereby integration of a high-speed alternator and maintenance costs to .EO.OO5/k We hereby designing -in maintainability and reliability.
- to respond to the essential environmental considerations by development of a catalytic combustor capable of limiting NOx and CO emission to less than 9 pm.
