Optimal power production and management for water mill restoration

Objective

The project consists of SME's from Ireland and Finland leading a European research project in the development of a technologically advanced power management system for restored water mills. A successful research conclusion will make the restoration of abandoned water mills feasible and economic. This will enable restoration of derelict sites in rural areas and provide renewable energy. It will also create jobs in areas of high unemployment through improved competitiveness of EU SME's in a new and sustainable industry.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

CORDIS classifies projects with EuroSciVoc, a multilingual taxonomy of fields of science, through a semi-automatic process based on NLP techniques. See: The European Science Vocabulary.
