Objective
This project is dedicated to the improvement of distillation processes. The objective will be reached by developing and adopting high-energy efficient heat exchangers and by developing dynamic process control. Experimental work and process modelling will be performed simultaneously in order to obtain at the end of the project, database on heat transfer performances of advanced heat exchangers using process fluids and a validated simulation model that could be implemented on process control systems of distillation columns.
