Innovative and sustainable sub-surface exploitation of natural resources (smart reservoir net)

Objective

Innovative and Sustainable Subsurface Exploitation of Natural Resources thematic network (previously Smart Well thematic network) covers all aspects of the sub-surface resource exploitation, at the field level (reservoir and wells) and over its life (from general planning, well construction, production, and final conversion). Modelling, measurements and controls are key functions over the whole life of the reservoir. Furthermore, new materials would enable new approach to solve various problems found during the life of the well. Creation and promotion of standards should insure faster deployment of new solution. This thematic network will facilitate proper communication and dissemination of various exploitation aspects, as a global vision will be promoted towards the network participants and the rest of the society.
