Objective
The Centre will promote research and disseminate knowledge on multi-disciplinary area of power electronic semiconductor devices, converter topologies and control systems with special emphasis on novel intelligent control issues for energy conservation, active filtering of line harmonics injected by non-linear loads and renewable energy sources. The Centre will be a technological bridge between European Community and east European countries including newly independent states.
