Objective
The project will:
-develop new and improved microorganisms for toxic organic degradation -develop improved pure elastomer and composite membranes for organic extraction from aqueous
streams
-investigate the performance of membrane attached biofilms -test the EMB technology on site using real industrial waste streams.
The above activities will lead to an assessment of the technical and economic feasibility of the process being
made.
