Exploitable results
The proposed system is applicable for industrial and domestic wastewater treatment plants (WWTP) removing nitrogen through nitrification. The system is composed of a monitor and an alarm device (anita biosensor: patented) which allows verification of nitrification conditions and eventual inhibition. Controlling actions to be undertaken depend upon the type of WWTP available and include bioadditive dosing, PAC dosing, oxygen control, sludge age control, etc.
