Objective
In the Member states of EU the diffusion of boilers utilising wood biomass is related to the safeguard of the environment and the valorisation of local resources. Goals of the research are. A wider diffusion of boilers utilising biomass, thus making more competitive the utilisation of such a fuel for heating purposes with respect to fossil fuels. This aim can be reached through the development of boilers with a very high technology, a friendly-use, a contained cost's. To develop a meter of polluting emissions allowing to control the operation of a boiler automatically. Development of a new methodology for the design and the realisation of a prototype based on artificial intelligence to affect the global costs of production. The results expected from the completion of the research are as follows :- Virtual prototypes for the tests of different design solutions:- Realisation of a prototype of a controller based on neural logic for the reduction of emissions and the increase of efficiency with limited costs of industrialisation;- Realisation love an interface prototype to make friendly the operations of management.

Topic(s)
Calls for proposals are divided into topics. A topic defines a specific subject or area for which applicants can submit proposals. The description of a topic comprises its specific scope and the expected impact of the funded project.

Funding Scheme
Funding scheme (or “Type of Action”) inside a programme with common features. It specifies: the scope of what is funded; the reimbursement rate; specific evaluation criteria to qualify for funding; and the use of simplified forms of costs like lump sums.
