Objective
The project will provide a set of training and information tools for people who wish to use videoconferencing for training and educational purposes in Europe. These tools will be suitable for use by both first-time users and by those with more extensive experience who wish to broaden their use of the media. Two separate training modules, in three languages, will be developed, one suitable for self study consisting of a videotape and manual and a second one built upon a different teaching model that will include an element of live tutoring provided by an experienced user of the technology. The main project outcomes are a set of training and information tools designed to heighten awareness of videoconferencing as an educational and training tool as well as to improve the competency and level of practical skills in those who wish to use the media in various pedagogical scenarios.
