CONTROLLED PRODUCTION OF RESTING STAGES OF AQUATIC ORGANISMS AND DEVELOPMENT OF STANDARD BIOASSAYS FOR ENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTION

Objective

EVALUATION OF METHODOLOGY AND STANDARDISATION OF AQUATIC BIOASSAYS.

1. DEVELOPMENT OF STANDARD TOXICITY TESTS FOR SOME AQUATIC SPECIES REPRESENTATIVE FOR COMPARTMENTS OF THE FRESH WATER MARINE ECOSYSTEMS.

2. STUDY OF THE BIOLOGICAL AND DEVELOPMENT OF SUITABLE TECHNOLOGIES FOR CONTROLLED PRODUCTION OF RESTING STAGES FOR SEVERAL CATEGORIES.

3. THE OPTIMAL CULTURING CONDITIONS, THE PARAMETERS INDUCING THE PRODUCTION OF RESTING STAGES, THE METHODOLOGY OF HARVESTING, STORAGE AND SUBSEQUENT HATCHING OF THE EGGS AND CYSTS, THE DEVELOPMENT OF TECHNOLOGIES FOR CONTROLLED MASS PRODUCTION OF THE RESTING STAGES OF DAPHIA MAGNA AND THE RESTING STAGES OF THE MICROBENTHIC AMOEBA HARTMANELLA.
