COMPARISON BETWEEN NEW IMPREGNATION METHODS ,USING VERY SHORT LIQUOR RATIOS IN TEXTILE FINISHING

Objective

ASSESSMENT OF NEW IMPREGNATION TECHNIQUES, ALLOWING A REDUCTION OF WATER VOLUME AND OF POLLUTION.

THE RESEARCH PROGRAMME IS IMPLEMENTED IN THREE MAIN PHASES:

1. DEFINITION OF THE VARIOUS TREATMENTS TO TRANSPOSE TO VERY SHORT LIQUOR RATIO TECHNIQUES, I.P.:

- VARIOUS FINISHING AGENTS (GREASE-RESISTANT FINISHING, SOFTENING ...)
- POSSIBLE ADAPTATION OF THESE TECHNIQUES TO DYEING PROCESSES.

2. STUDY OF THE TEXTILE ASPECT AND MORE PARTICULARLY VARIOUS MATERIALS TO BE USED, TYPE OF FABRICS:

- WOVEN FABRICS
- KNITTED FABRICS
- VELVET FABRICS

3. COMPARISON BETWEEN THE PERFORMANCES OF THE STUDIED TECHNIQUES AND THE CONVENTIONAL PROCESSES.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

CORDIS classifies projects with EuroSciVoc, a multilingual taxonomy of fields of science, through a semi-automatic process based on NLP techniques. See: The European Science Vocabulary.

This project has not yet been classified with EuroSciVoc.

Funding Scheme

Funding scheme (or “Type of Action”) inside a programme with common features. It specifies: the scope of what is funded; the reimbursement rate; specific evaluation criteria to qualify for funding; and the use of simplified forms of costs like lump sums.
