Objective
TO COMPARE DIFFERENT PROCESSES FOR THE TREATMENT OF TEXTILE EFFLUENTS.
THE RESEARCH PROJECT INCLUDES 4 MAIN LINES:
- CHARACTERISATION OF THE EFFLUENTS ACCORDINGLY TO THE TYPE OF MACHINE AND TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE ALREADY ACQUIRED EXPERIENCE;
- REALISATION OF THE DEVICE WITH THE USE OF GRAFTED CELLULOSES;
- ELABORATION AND TEST OF A PROTOTYPE OF MEAN DIMENSIONS;
- NUMBERING OF THE FUNCTIONING OF THE PROCESS IN TERMS OF RELIABILITY AND REALIZED ECONOMIES.
PROP. 02.510
TWO POSSIBILITIES ARE TESTED:
- SUPERCONCENTRATION BY MEANS OF:
A) ULTRAFILTRATION ON MINERAL MEMBRANES, GIVING A CONCENTRATE WITH A CONTENT OF HIGH DRY MATTERS AND
B) EVAPORATION, BY WHICH THE QUANTITY OF VAPOUR PRODUCED SHOULD BE USED IN THE DYEING PLANT;
- DECOMPOSITION OF ORGANIC MOLECULES INTO CO2, H2O BY CATALYTIC OXIDATION UNDER PRESSURE.
PROP. 02.534
THREE PROCESSES OF DISCOLORATION ARE STUDIED AFTER BIOLOGICAL TREATMENT:
- OZONISATION
- ACTIVE CARBON ADSORPTION
- ION-EXCHANGE GRAFTED CELLULOSE ADSORPTION.
THE COMPARISON OF THE THREE PROCESSES IS MADE FROM THE POINT OF VIEW OF THE YIELD OF DISCOLORATION AND COSTS.

Funding Scheme
Funding scheme (or “Type of Action”) inside a programme with common features. It specifies: the scope of what is funded; the reimbursement rate; specific evaluation criteria to qualify for funding; and the use of simplified forms of costs like lump sums.
