Objective

The main purpose of the proposed research is to test the hypothesis that the efficiency of nutrient use over more than one growing season tends to be reduced under P-or K--limited conditions compared to N-limited conditions, and that this effect is particularly severe in species that do not naturally occur in P- or K- limited wetlands.
