European-mediterranean infrastructure co-ordination for earthquake seismology

Objective

To coordinate different ongoing European implementations of e-science technology for real-time data exchange, improved rapid access to earthquake data and earthquake information we propose three specialised workshops. One on real-time ("life") earthquake data exchange, one on distributed Object Oriented software and one on data exchange in the Mediterranean area. Improving earthquake disaster preparedness and seismic hazard estimations are the driving forces behind the new initiatives we aim to co-ordinate.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

CORDIS classifies projects with EuroSciVoc, a multilingual taxonomy of fields of science, through a semi-automatic process based on NLP techniques. See: The European Science Vocabulary.
