Network for the Support of European Policies on Air Pollution

Objective

Network for the Support of European Policies on Air Pollution (NEPAP) is a project within Accompanying Measure whose purpose is to assist the Commission's initiative Clean Air for Europe (CAFE) with relevant scientific information. The project will make use of scientific research on air pollution under the 4th and 5th framework programmes and scientific research elsewhere. It will focus on five issues of particular importance for the success of CAFE namely background atmospheric concentrations, non-linearities, nitrogen deposition, particles and uncertainties in source-receptor relationships. Within each of the area scientific results will compiled and further evaluated in order to fit the needs of CAFE.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

CORDIS classifies projects with EuroSciVoc, a multilingual taxonomy of fields of science, through a semi-automatic process based on NLP techniques. See: The European Science Vocabulary.
