Sustainable renovation of buildings for sustainable neighbourhood (HQE²R)

Objective

The project aims to provide a method of building rehabilitation inside a sustainable renovation of an urban neighbourhood, which will be tested on 11cities in 7 MS (DK, F, G, I, NL, S, UK). This project is to allow the integration of sustainable development issues in renovation plan of quarters and in buildings rehabilitation both. The sustainable goals of the municipalities or the cities will be defined and for each neighbourhood, compared to developed city plans and to the wishes and needs of the actors including inhabitants (diagnosis in the quarter including indicators and the evaluation of choices' impacts). This will create an iterative process and the results of the planning will be delivered to the municipality. But the tools - methods, guidelines for sustainable buildings and sustainable neighbourhoods - will be carried out according to a typology of cities and quarters in order to be replicated in Europe.
