Objective
SUPER is directed at the clustering of four projects in the area of sustainable urban planning and economic development. This clustering will enhance the coordination of the outcome of the four projects and will strengthen their individual impact. As a result, the following mission is set for SUPER: the cluster SUPER will add value to the individual research projects and policy development through exchange of information and exchange of views across topics related to urban planning and economic (re) development and if necessary partly re-focussing of the individual projects. It will strive to set an agenda for future R&D in the area of sustainable economic urban development. Following the objectives and work plan. SUPER will deliver recommendations for: - matching of the results and deliverables of the underlying projects in a joint position paper; - An ongoing knowledge exchange platform (clearinghouse); - RTD topics for the 6th Framework and national R&D schemes. The recommendations will be presented in a document which will contain the joint position paper, invited research and position papers and the highlights of the conference that will be organised in Brussels.
