SMALL BIO - POWER PLANT FOR RURAL APPLICATION

CORDIS provides links to public deliverables and publications of HORIZON projects.

Links to deliverables and publications from FP7 projects, as well as links to some specific result types such as dataset and software, are dynamically retrieved from OpenAIRE .

Deliverables

Summary: Based on earlier experiences and on the results of the ARCAS-project, the project group has the know- how to design and to build a Small Bio-power plant with a capacity up to 50 kWel. All CAD-plots of the plant are available and the Meurer- group can produce the plant in its own work-shops at Freren ( Germany ). The Meurer-group is actively seeking for customers who are interested to buy and to operate the gasification system based on their biomasses .To reach a system with a high availabilty a partner will be searched who will operate a Bio-power plant, repairs and bottle necks will be eleminated together with Meurer Maschinen. The Meurer-group also will sell licences to other users. Part1: The special design of the gasifier is characterised by co-current, buttom feeded, two stages Part2: The design of the gascleaning system is defined by precleaning the gas by adsorption with the own fuel, cooling and dedusting and tar-removal by an electrical condensor. This type of tar removal system, especially the electrical condensor, is very new and as other groups working in the field of biomass- gasification know IC - engines need a tar -free fuel-gas. That is the reason why the project-group of ARCAS believes that the electrical condensor is the key component for tar removal.
