Objective
The VRIMOR Project involves the development of a suite of computer simulation tools and interfaces together with environmental data capture methods to enable power plant maintenance, inspection and repair personnel to develop safer, more efficient working methods in line with ALARA principles. Emphasis will be placed on interoperability and reusability of the technologies, which will de-risk the project and provide choices for the end users. Typical personnel will apply the developments during a planned reactor outage when the technological performance, human factors, further development needs, the preferred technologies, and potential for commercialisation will be assessed and reported.
