Objective
The 3rd Workshop "EC Databases on the decommissioning of Nuclear Installations" shall be prepared to take place at the Unterwassertechnikum Hannover, Institut fuer Werkstoffkunde der Universitaet Hannover on the 7th and 8th October, 1999.
The aim of the workshop, which is the third one of its kind, is to provide detailed information on the latest developments of decommissioning information resources and to demonstrate their capabilities. Based upon this future demands for such resources shall be discussed. The emphasis of the workshop will be laid on presenting the databases EC-DB-Cost and EC-DB-TOOL, the corresponding database network as well as on presenting the a study on a decommissioning strategic planning tool. The presentations and discussions shall be taken as an advance to a sustained European decommissioning network for a systematic information exchange.
