Theoretical study of in-medium properties of hadrons in a nuclear medium formed in nucleus-nucleus collisions

Objective

The objective of the grant is to pursue research in theoretical nuclear physics at ECT* in Trento. Especially to study in-medium properties of hadrons in a hot and dense nuclear medium created in nucleus-nucleus collisions.
ECT* is a very active place with its own research program and a large number of workshops each year. This program attracts many eminent physicists and ECT* is an excellent place to meet and exchange ideas with other scientists. I intend to actively participate in the programs and to start new projects together with postdoctoral fellows or guests at ECT* A possibility for me to spend two years at ECT* by the support of an EU fel- lowship, would help to deepen and broaden my knowledge in nuclear physics. At my return to Sweden my expertise would help to strengthen the Swedish theory position in this area of nuclear physics.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

CORDIS classifies projects with EuroSciVoc, a multilingual taxonomy of fields of science, through a semi-automatic process based on NLP techniques. See: The European Science Vocabulary.

Programme(s)

Multi-annual funding programmes that define the EU’s priorities for research and innovation.

Topic(s)

Calls for proposals are divided into topics. A topic defines a specific subject or area for which applicants can submit proposals. The description of a topic comprises its specific scope and the expected impact of the funded project.

Call for proposal

Procedure for inviting applicants to submit project proposals, with the aim of receiving EU funding.
