Study of the environmental compatibility of industrial by-products

Objective

The investigation will be related to the leaching behaviour of several industrial by-products. The characterization of the long term leaching of these materials is one of the most important points in this research area to carry out in the future. The development of new leaching tests to evaluate this long term release of contaminants is essential to have a good knowledge of the environmental compatibility of these by-products. The evolution in time of the release is decisive for their further utilization. The release of elements to the soil has to be well known and controlled to avoid the presence of contamination problems.
The Forschungsgemeinschaft Eisenh|ttenschlacken is completely equiped to carry out this research. The previous investigations developed in the institute allow to expect a success result in this investigation. The results obtained would be very interesting not only for Germany, even for the rest of the European countries.

Programme(s)

Multi-annual funding programmes that define the EU’s priorities for research and innovation.

Topic(s)

Calls for proposals are divided into topics. A topic defines a specific subject or area for which applicants can submit proposals. The description of a topic comprises its specific scope and the expected impact of the funded project.

Call for proposal

Procedure for inviting applicants to submit project proposals, with the aim of receiving EU funding.
