Objective
The aim of the proposal is to explore several theoretical problems relating to the title, including: * The relationship of gamma homology to other theories such as topological Hochschild and cyclic homology and algebraic K-theory.
* Calculations of gamma homology groups, for example for
polynomial algebras. * The development of a cyclic version of gamma homology, including study of its properties, its relationship to ordinary gamma homology and calculations of cyclic gamma homology groups. * The properties of discrete commutative algebras captured by gamma homology. * Decompositions of the Eulerian representations of the symmetric group into irreducibles.
I also aim to * Broaden my understanding of topological Hochschild and cyclic homology, MacLane homology and K-theory. * Develop contacts with the many active researchers in France working in this area.

Topic(s)
Calls for proposals are divided into topics. A topic defines a specific subject or area for which applicants can submit proposals. The description of a topic comprises its specific scope and the expected impact of the funded project.

Funding Scheme
Funding scheme (or “Type of Action”) inside a programme with common features. It specifies: the scope of what is funded; the reimbursement rate; specific evaluation criteria to qualify for funding; and the use of simplified forms of costs like lump sums.
