THE RESEARCH IS INTENDED AS AN EXTENSION OF MY PREVIOUS AND CURRENT ONE ON CONTEMPORARY EUROPEAN ANTISEMITISM: IT WOULD OFFER EXPLANATIONS AND BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF THE TROUBLED RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN JUDAISM , AND CATHOLIC CHURCH AFTER THE WAR; THE RESEARCH WlLL TAKE INTO ACCOUNT ALL THE MAIN ASPECTS OF SUCH RELATIONSHIP INCLUDING THE POLITICAL ONES; NAMELY THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN VATICAN AND ISRAEL ALL. THESE ASPECTS ARE EXTREMELY RELEVANT TO THE POLITICAL AND SOCIAL. HISTORY AND PLIGHT OF THE EUROPEAN UNION.

THE RESULT OF THE PROJECT WOULD SHED LIGHT ON THE SOCIAL AND RELIGIOUS CONTEXT OF ANTISEMITISM IN CONTEMPORARY EUROPE, AND THE BOOKS AND ARIICLES WOULD SERVE AS MUCH NEEDED TEXTBOOKS BOTH AT UNIVERSITY AND HIGH SCHOOL LEVEL
