Measurement of cp violation using the kloe detector at the daphne collider

Objective

The research work will be devoted to the measurement of the CP violation parameter Rf (et/e) in the KLKS system. The work will be made in the frame of the KLOE collaboration (18 laboratories, 140 members) working on the KLOE detector at the DAPONE e+e collider.
The research work will consist of 2 kinds of activities: the first activity will be devoted to the analysis of the data collected by the KLOE detector to reconstruct the decays of the KL and Ks mesons. This will require the development of computer programs in which selection criteria will have to be defined to reconstruct these particles. The second activity will consist of participating to the construction of the central drift chamber and the tests of its performances, to be compared with the expected ones. These tests will concern the resolution on the track parameters, losses due to the track fit and the efficiency of the background rejection.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

Programme(s)

Multi-annual funding programmes that define the EU’s priorities for research and innovation.

Topic(s)

Calls for proposals are divided into topics. A topic defines a specific subject or area for which applicants can submit proposals. The description of a topic comprises its specific scope and the expected impact of the funded project.

Call for proposal

Procedure for inviting applicants to submit project proposals, with the aim of receiving EU funding.
