Durable goods and non-convexities

Objective

Research objectives and content:

Interaction between non durable and durable goods dynamics, with non-constant prices and aggregation when the representative agent's model fails. Estimation of a discrete Markov decision process that is viewed to be suitable for describing the durable goods purchasing behaviour.

Training content (objective, benefit and expected impact)

I expect to reach a deeper knowledge in the micro-econometrics.

Links with industry / industrial relevance (22)

Cars are the durable goods that I intend to concentrate on.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

CORDIS classifies projects with EuroSciVoc, a multilingual taxonomy of fields of science, through a semi-automatic process based on NLP techniques. See: The European Science Vocabulary.
