On the topology of some moduli spaces of instantons and colouredconfiguration spaces

Objective

Research objectives and content
The aim of this project is to study the topology of some moduli spaces of instantons, viewed as rational curves in a loop group. The instantons described by maps into the algebraic loop group correspond to some coloured configurations. I plan to apply the spectral sequence I am elaborating in my current project 'the topology of spaces of rational curves' and geometric considerations, to understand the homology of the spaces in question.
Training content (objective, benefit and expected impact)
The collaboration with Prof. Boedigheimer for his experience in the homotopy theory of configuration spaces will be essential. The interaction with the differential geometry group and the global analysis group will also be important.

Programme(s)

Multi-annual funding programmes that define the EU’s priorities for research and innovation.

Topic(s)

Calls for proposals are divided into topics. A topic defines a specific subject or area for which applicants can submit proposals. The description of a topic comprises its specific scope and the expected impact of the funded project.

Call for proposal

Procedure for inviting applicants to submit project proposals, with the aim of receiving EU funding.
