PHYSICS BEYOND the STANDARD MODEL

Objective

The wide scope of the proposed work demands an efficient cooperation among further strengthen the current collaboration amongst a group of european the various groups involved. We plan to devote particular emphasis on the centers working in many aspects of "Physics Beyond the Standard Model". training and active participation of young scientists in the proposed exchanges, which has already been the tradition in a number of the nodes The participating teams current activities clearly demonstrate their common involved. In particular, we propose the opening of 13 two-years scientific interests, solid expertise, and complementary methods of post-doctoral positions distributed among the participating institutes treating the same problems. Of these topics to highlight we include: the through the duration of the contract.
unification of fundamental forces including gravity, strings and superstrings, electroweak symmetry breaking, higgs physics and supersymmetry, as well as neutrino physics. We plan to cover both the theoretical as well as the phenomenological implications of the most promising class of extensions of the standard model of particle physics, in an attempt to provide support and stimulus to the main european experimental programs in high energy physics at the LEP and LHC colliders.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

CORDIS classifies projects with EuroSciVoc, a multilingual taxonomy of fields of science, through a semi-automatic process based on NLP techniques. See: The European Science Vocabulary.

Programme(s)

Multi-annual funding programmes that define the EU’s priorities for research and innovation.

Topic(s)

Calls for proposals are divided into topics. A topic defines a specific subject or area for which applicants can submit proposals. The description of a topic comprises its specific scope and the expected impact of the funded project.

Call for proposal

Procedure for inviting applicants to submit project proposals, with the aim of receiving EU funding.
