Objective
The SUPREME project promotes the objectives of the Growth Program for improving sustainability and competitiveness of the Chemical Process Industry. Chemical engineering companies are required to demonstrate a life-cycle approach when assessing technologies to install. With several methods, technologies and research project already in place, there is a need to assess their assimilation and impact on the Chemical Process Industries. The assessment could assist in the development of a roadmap that is required to address future R&D developments, identify improvements, promote metrics in facilitate the integration of information for the better life-cycle assessment of operations, towards better production, processing and organisation of the industry.
