Centre of photon, electron and ion advanced methods for natural science

Objective

Centre of Excellence at the Institute of Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences applying the advanced methods for characterisation of matter is proposed. Its main objectives are: characterisation of variety of materials for natural science and development of the used methods for studies of interaction of photon, electron and ion beams with the matter f and for computer simulation of physical processes, construction of models and evaluation of the confidence interval of estimated physical parameters. Theses objectives will be achieved in collaboration established with chosen large facilities in Europe and other scientific institutions several years ago. The Centre would strengthen the international collaboration organising the international conference and three specialistic workshops, training for scientists and students as well as mutual research stays.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

CORDIS classifies projects with EuroSciVoc, a multilingual taxonomy of fields of science, through a semi-automatic process based on NLP techniques. See: The European Science Vocabulary.

Programme(s)

Multi-annual funding programmes that define the EU’s priorities for research and innovation.

Topic(s)

Calls for proposals are divided into topics. A topic defines a specific subject or area for which applicants can submit proposals. The description of a topic comprises its specific scope and the expected impact of the funded project.

Call for proposal

Procedure for inviting applicants to submit project proposals, with the aim of receiving EU funding.
