Centre of competence in safety of pressure equipment

Objective

Main goal of PRESAFE is to create a strong centre providing services for the parties interested in pressure equipment safety. Second goal is to construct a network which will be an extension of existing EPERC network. This will be achieved through a series of training and dissemination and education actions and by signing a twinning agreement with a foreign partner (potential one is Bay Zoltan Institute from Hungary. Furthermore, PRESAFE will provide basis (technical framework) for harmonisation of Polish standards with new European legislation in the field of pressure equipment - Pressure Equipment Directive (PED 97/23/EC).
