Objective
Centre CORPROT acts in the area of integrated technical and qualitative systems for corrosion protection. This means every offer to the market in terms of corrosion protection consists of material selection, coating, and quality control. Seven main packages are proposed: workshops, conferences, training for industry, missions and stays, promotion and dissemination and co-ordination package. Every thematic package concerns problems of integrated systems i.e. design, material, coatings testing methods and standardisation, but special emphasis is focused on environmental problems. Main goal is to facilitate a fusion of economic sectors of EU and Central Europe in the area of SME and increase safety of the environment. Staff exchange will take place with support for young scientists from EU and CORPROT in order to establish closer professional contacts as well as to prepare a set of proposals for FP 6.
