Enhanced design and manufacturing of mini-hydraulic products (MINIHAP)

Objective

The objective of this project is to develop a new methodology combining new materials, state-of-the-art computational methods and extensive laboratory testing for enhanced design and production of new oil hydraulic components of reduced size for a wide range of applications.

The main innovative aspects of the project are:
1) Development and validation of new mini-hydraulic components compatible with environmentally friendly oils with enhanced hydraulic and acoustic properties;
2) Application of new materials in the design and production of new mini-hydraulic components with enhanced ecological (plumb free) features, easily recyclable, high performance and strength;
3) Optimal assembly of mini-hydraulic components into prototype systems of small size, and;
4) Validation of the new mini-hydraulic products on two specific applications:
a) automatic opening, locking and safety systems for doors;
b) automatic lifting tables and elevators, for use in industry, hospitals and houses.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

CORDIS classifies projects with EuroSciVoc, a multilingual taxonomy of fields of science, through a semi-automatic process based on NLP techniques. See: The European Science Vocabulary.

Programme(s)

Multi-annual funding programmes that define the EU’s priorities for research and innovation.

Topic(s)

Calls for proposals are divided into topics. A topic defines a specific subject or area for which applicants can submit proposals. The description of a topic comprises its specific scope and the expected impact of the funded project.

Call for proposal

Procedure for inviting applicants to submit project proposals, with the aim of receiving EU funding.
