Objective
The increasing environmental concern of the community lead, during last years, to emergence of needs for new processes that would be agile and eco-efficient. One partner of this project has discover and patented the synthesis of a new environment -friendly resin based on vegetable oils suitable for uses in various application fields ranging from traditional to high tech industry. A consortium was created including several industrials from different areas to develop new processes either using this resin or allowing to produce it. Such processes will be oriented towards modern factory. The optimisation of these processes, that will be done within the present project, will allow to produce some objects based on composite materials in the field of aeronautics, automotive, wood, textile and furniture industry. At end, this project will generate some new environment friendly processes suitable for rapid industrial development and allowing the production of a wide range of product with decreased environmental impact and optimised production costs.

Topic(s)
Calls for proposals are divided into topics. A topic defines a specific subject or area for which applicants can submit proposals. The description of a topic comprises its specific scope and the expected impact of the funded project.

Funding Scheme
Funding scheme (or “Type of Action”) inside a programme with common features. It specifies: the scope of what is funded; the reimbursement rate; specific evaluation criteria to qualify for funding; and the use of simplified forms of costs like lump sums.
