Objective
Nowadays, recycling is a significant sector of activity around Europe, being its main aim the separation of valuables (metallic or not) from impurities. As an example, around 400 companies in Europe are working in copper recycling, producing around 1,12 Mtons per year with a value of 2240 MEuro. The main objective of the project is to built a machine that modernizes the recycling process, capable to increase the quality of recycled products, and the widespread of recycling services over Europe. This machine will be built with the targets of eliminating initial manual sorting operation. reduction of following chemical treatments, and decreasing the impurity levels reached by current techniques. This machine could be used in metallic and non metallic recycling application.
