Objective
SAFETI is focused on eliminating manual handling of heavy goods on construction sites as manual handling has been identified as the main causes of health hazard at work in the Construction industry. It will provide during entire construction phase the necessary assistance and organisation to allow the smooth displacement of loads on construction site from the unloading wharf up to the exact location on slabs where goods are going to be integrated. Two main objectives have been defined: 1. Develop new handling tools allowing intermodal transport of products and materials 2. Propose to construction project partners more effective operations to allow a new efficiency on construction sites. SAFETI proposes a global approach with a multi-disciplinary consortium.
