Objective
HOMEDOOR-project researches, conceptualizes and builds a prototype and pilot of a transportation, storage and handling device for electronically ordered goods. The device is installable in buildings to serve inhabitants and residents of building. The core system is based on elevator capable to receive distributor's delivery and unload it to home door as requested by the inhabitant. The device eliminates the missing link between road transportation and home door. The system includes the physical equipment, information system, messaging, authentication and certification of e-commerce transactions, based on public key infrastructure. Finally, the project researches architectural, building, housing modernisation and user perception of the automated logistic system.
