Objective
CONDICOMP will be a novel and revolutionary control system for composite materials processing, which consists of:
a) a durable dielectric sensor capable of monitoring the material state;
b) material state modelling expressed by the relationship of dielectric properties to the material state;
c) an on-line dielectric monitoring system suitable for industrial use;
d) the material-state based control algorithm and;
e) the fabrication of components where the material-state based control system guides the material properties through a predefined path.
The main project outputs will be:
1) the material-state based process control in composites manufacturing capable of reducing scrap by 20%;
2) the dielectric monitoring system capable of reducing the process cycle by 25% and;
3) the novel dielectric sensor for monitoring material state in production capable of characterising accurately and reproducibly the material state.

Topic(s)
Calls for proposals are divided into topics. A topic defines a specific subject or area for which applicants can submit proposals. The description of a topic comprises its specific scope and the expected impact of the funded project.

Funding Scheme
Funding scheme (or “Type of Action”) inside a programme with common features. It specifies: the scope of what is funded; the reimbursement rate; specific evaluation criteria to qualify for funding; and the use of simplified forms of costs like lump sums.
