Developing methodology for advanced systems testing

Objective

This project addresses the area of Systems Testing (ST), which is a branch of Systems Engineering. ST is critical in insuring high quality products by all manufacturing industries. ST is a process designed to identify problems and manage economic risks during the entire product lifecycle. The ultimate aim of ST is to assure that products fulfils customers needs. The aim of SysTest is to develop a generic ST methodology and processes as well as evolve an ST economic model to optimise the ST process. The aim is that these will be tailorable in order to fully respond to different risk and quality objectives, different stages of systems lifecycles and support different industrial sectors. The overall goals are - decrease the projects development cost and time-to-market by 10% - improve by 10% the following system qualities: correctness, reliability, robustness, performance, safety and security.

Programme(s)

Multi-annual funding programmes that define the EU’s priorities for research and innovation.

Topic(s)

Calls for proposals are divided into topics. A topic defines a specific subject or area for which applicants can submit proposals. The description of a topic comprises its specific scope and the expected impact of the funded project.

Call for proposal

Procedure for inviting applicants to submit project proposals, with the aim of receiving EU funding.
